Ensure the integrity of horse racing

The 2021 Accreditation School was held online (a one-time occasion) and as a result took time for the exams to be proctored. ROAP finished up the 2021 Accreditation School exams in 2022 with 34 participants having successfully completed the accreditation school and passed all the exams.

The Accreditation School was held in September 2022 and had 48 participants. Continuing education was held simultaneous with the Accreditation School and there were 24 participants. Also held throughout the year at difference racetracks, were 3 Certificate Courses with a total of 41 participants.

Besides the Continuing Education held during the Accreditation School in September 2022, ROAP approved Continuing Education agendas for 3 jurisdictions. ROAP conducted those classes in December in conjunction with the University of Louisville, which was offered in person and online.

ROAP conducted a Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority (HISA) training for stewards and hosted 3 webinars for stewards with HISA representatives. ROAP also participated in numerous online meetings between stewards and HISA representatives.
