SCHOOLS4FREEDOM:IN 2024, VOICES4FREEDOM HELPED 3,284 ADDITIONAL PEOPLE TO FREE THEMSELVES FROM SLAVERY, BRINGING THE ORGANIZATION'S TOTAL TO 11,419. THE SCHOOLS4FREEDOM PROGRAM HAS OPERATED A TOTAL OF 56 TRANSITIONAL SCHOOLS IN UTTAR PRADESH SINCE 2013, WITH 19 TRANSITIONAL SCHOOLS OPERATING IN UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA IN 2024 AND 37 SCHOOLS HAVING ALREADY GRADUATED THEIR CHILDREN FROM THE PROGRAM AND INTEGRATED THEM INTO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS. EACH TRANSITIONAL SCHOOL IS THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS FREEDOM FOR THEIR VILLAGE, IN WHICH 100 - 200 PEOPLE ARE ENSLAVED BY ONE SLAVEHOLDER. THESE TRANSITIONAL SCHOOLS HAVE A CURRICULUM DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY TO ENSURE THAT EACH CHILD IS CAUGHT UP TO GRADE LEVEL WITHIN 3 YEARS. ALL ADULTS WERE EMPOWERED THROUGH RIGHTS AND SKILLS TRAINING, ASSISTANCE IN ACCESSING EXISTING GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS, AND GAINING A REGULAR AND RELIABLE INCOME SO THAT THEY NEVER FALL PREY TO SLAVERY AGAIN. IN 2024 WE SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED OUR FIRST "BLOCK EXPANSION" PROGRAM WHICH EXPANDED ANTI-SLAVERY WORK TO AN ENTIRE ADMINISTRATIVE BLOCK IN UTTAR PRADESH. THIS EXPANSION PROJECT INCLUDED 18 OF OUR SCHOOLS4FREEDOM VILLAGES, AND AT THE SAME TIME WORKED TO FREE AND/OR SLAVERY-PROOF ANOTHER 97 VILLAGES WITHIN THE BLOCK ALL AT ONCE. SLAVERY-PROOFING OF THE NON-ENSLAVED VILLAGES IN THE BLOCK ENSURES THEY CAN AVOID FALLING INTO SLAVERY IN THE FIRST PLACE. WE WILL BEGIN WORK ON OUR SECOND EXPANSION BLOCK IN 2025.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
