Mission

Together, as directly impacted community members and interfaith people of conscience, we draw on our embodied knowledge and wisdom traditions, to work in solidarity for human dignity, equity and immigration justice, co-creating transformative communities of welcome, connection, empowerment and belonging.

Activities or mission (Part I)

The Interfaith Solidarity and Accompaniment Coalition of Northern Colorado is dedicated to deliberately and joyfully co-creating a society in which all community members feel a sense of belonging, are empowered and connected, and can thrive to maximum potential. We educate, build connections, support capacity-building, and promote leadership and mobility.

  • The First Generation Near Peer Mentoring Project provides professional development experiences for first generation higher education students, pairing them with underserved youth in local school districts for mentoring and academic support. FGNP supports 70 mentors working in 5 school districts and mentoring one to two thousand youth.

    Expenses $118,520 · Grants $84,220

  • Accompaniment Legal Support Fund - This fund provides family and immigration legal support through education materials, connection to attorneys, and grants to support legal, filing and professional support fees. Priority for need-based assistance is given to underserved communities, youth, victims of crimes, parents with young children, the elderly and those with disabilities. Legal Funds support, on average, around 150 families pursuing complex legal cases, and reaches at least 750 community members/families through education events and materials.

    Expenses $115,163

  • Leadership and Professional Development Training - Through our Cultivamos and Adelante programs we provide education, training, support and professional development opportunities for underserved youth, young adults, and their parents. This includes a summer fellowship program, a community leadership training program, work authorization support, and grants for those wishing to create a small business or engage in licensing or skills-building. These programs support around 80 youth and adult community members annually, working with 15-20 host organizations.

    Expenses $146,624 · Grants $100,950

  • Family Crisis Fund - cash assistance to people experiencing a crisis who are locked out of more traditional forms of credit and support due to barriers such as legal status, identification requirements, language and literacy barriers. Through this fund, we continue to support households after the death of a loved one, a cancer diagnosis, a severe accident, a family separation and many other crisis scenarios.

    Expenses $49,846 · Grants $49,846

  • ISAAC is also the fiscal sponsor for The Latino Dream, an affiliated program started in 2022 to serve the needs of Latine communities in south Larimer County. The program's 2023 income expenses are reflected in these consolidated financial statements.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
