This program serves some of Racine's most challenged population. A number of our walk-in participants are struggling with mental illness, anti-social attitudes, criminal backgrounds, gang involvement and chronic episodes of unemployment. The majority of our walk-ins have been unemployed for more than one year. Racine Vocational Minstry placed 220 people in jobs and education in 2022. Also in 2022, 17 people attained promotions and 61 people earned certificates for programs and job skills in programs like forklift, CNA, and AODA and anger management classes. This program is substantially funded by the United Way of Racine County and the SC Johnson Fund.
Expenses $187,684
-
In 2022, virtually all (98%) of the participants who enroll in our programs qualify under the HUD definition as low income. In 2022, RVM served 55 homeless participants, 47 gang participants, 114 prison returnees, and 133 in the walk-in program. Those we serve have experienced a greater capacity to reconnect with their families, get and maintain employment, stabilize their lives through increased self-sufficiency, and gained more positive prosocial mode of think- ing. RVM assisted this population with over $18,000 in supports for drivers' license recovery, gas cards, bus passes, work clothes, work tools, CNA certificates, forklift licenses and CDL certifications. RVM's homeless assistance is done in the context of our local CoC.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
