Mission

The mission of Intown Collaborative Ministries is to prevent and reverse homelessness and hunger in Intown Atlanta. We envision a thriving community equipped to provide prompt and effective support for those experiencing homelessness and hunger. Our work is guided by these values.

Activities or mission (Part I)

To prevent and reverse homelessness and hunger in Intown Atlanta.

  • Intown Cares Food Programs-In Georgia, 1 in 9 people are food insecure and many rely on assistance services like Intown Cares Food Programs to supplement their food supply. In FY 2024, Intown Cares Food Programs served 5,588 individuals and distributed 597,622 pounds of food-enough for 498,019 meals. Every week, neighbors from over 500 metro Atlanta families receive food from Intown Cares. In FY 2024, over one-third of Intown Cares food distributed was delivered via its volunteer drivers and Amazon Flex drivers though its Help for Hunger program.

    Expenses $1,428,988 · Revenue $3,858,395

  • Intown Cares Homeless Services Program works to end homelessness for our neighbors living on the streets of the City of Atlanta. In FY 2024, we enrolled 561 unhoused neighbors in our program-a 50 increase from the previous year-and helped 231 clients move into permanent housing. In the past 10 years, Intown has navigated 1,250 individuals to permanent housing.

    Expenses $1,645,225

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
