Mission and programs · 2023

Mission

To operate a thrift shop and donate the net profits to cancer research and charities.

  • We accept and sell previously-owned items. The items are sold in our volunteer-run shop. All proceeds, net of operating expenses, are sent directly to charitable organizations devoted to cancer research and cancer patient wellness. As the shop continued to grow,we exceeded prior year sales levels in 2023 . This provided us with the opportunity to donate to multiple cancer charities for another year. In 2023, our service revenue totaled $ 150,144. Due to this revenue increase, we were able to give $65,600 to cancer-related charitable organizations. As a result, we continued to fulfill our mission, "To operate a thrift shop and donate the net profits to cancer research and charities".

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
