Mission

Supporting Kids Foundation provides immediate financial assistance to families in the greater Kansas City area who have a child diagnosed with pediatric cancer.

  • Supporting Kids Foundation (SKF) is an all-volunteer organization of fourteen (14) board members and approximately fifty (50) general volunteers who give their time and talents to host annual fundraising events. Funds from these events are given to families battling childhood cancer in order ease the financial burden of general household expenses so they can focus on their child's health, rather than their financial shortfalls. In 2022, SKF was able to provide $489,398 in assistance to 119 families, making the total since inception $3,155,787 in assistance given.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
