Mission

To create a vibrant future for agriculture, farm families their communities.

  • Agriculture in the Classroom The main focus of Emmet County Farm Bureau and the direction of its Board of Directors has been the spread of Agriculture in the Classroom. This happens in many forms one is the donations to the countys two FFA Clubs. Another form is the countys support of North Central Iowa Ag in the Classroom NCIAITC and its membership dues. NCIAITC teaches to every elementary student in the county about how Agriculture affects their lives. The other avenue that the County Farm Bureau uses is its Ag Fair. The Ag Fair is for all 300 plus 4th graders in the county.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
