Mission and programs · 2023

Mission

Osceola County Farm Bureau's mission is to represent the educational, social, and business interests of farmers in Osceola and to enhance the future of agriculture.

  • Osceola County Farm Bureau supports youth at the fair. Students involved in the 4-H and FFA programs, who show animals at the fair receive hands-on learning about the realities of food production. They also learn valuable skills such as how to communicate, animal husbandry and marketing.

  • Osceola County Farm Bureau keeps members informed about legislative issues that could impact agriculture on the county and state level. A legislative luncheon was held at Kissimmee Extension Services building where Commissioner of Agriculture spoke on all the new happenings in agricultural legislation.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
