THE ORGANIZATION IS THE WASHINGTON DC CHAPTER OF AFCEA AND IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING AN ENVIRONMENT FOR MILITARY, GOVERNMENT, AND INDUSTRY COMMUNITIES TO COLLABORATE ON THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE, THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY, MILITARY HEALTH-RELATED AGENCIES, AND ISSUES OF NATIONAL SECURITY.

THE CHAPTER HAS VARIOUS FUNCTIONS, SUCH AS EDUCATIONAL, LUNCHEONS, SYMPOSIUMS, GALAS AND SOCIAL EVENTS THAT FEATURE KEY SPEAKERS AND RECENT DEVELOPMENT AND ISSUES AFFECTING THE COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY AND NATIONAL DEFENSE.
