Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

CORE FORM, PART VII AND SCHEDULE J
TAXABLE COMPENSATION REPORTED HEREIN IS DERIVED FROM 2023 FORMS W-2.
SCHEDULE J, PART I; QUESTION 1A
HOUSING IS PROVIDED TO PHILADELPHIA UNIVERSITY'S EXECUTIVE DEAN AS PART OF HIS EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT. THE ORGANIZATION DEEMS IT NECESSARY THAT THIS INDIVIDUAL LIVE ON CAMPUS IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO IMMEDIATELY PROVIDE LEADERSHIP TO THE CAMPUS COMMUNITY AT ANY TIME, 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK. THIS AMOUNT IS INCLUDED WITHIN SCHEDULE J, PART II, COLUMN D, NON-TAXABLE BENEFITS, AS THIS ITEM WAS DEEMED TO BE BUSINESS RELATED AND SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF PHILADELPHIA UNIVERSITY AND THE INDIVIDUAL'S RESPECTIVE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A FLEXIBLE BENEFIT PROGRAM ("PERQUISITE PROGRAM") FOR CERTAIN MEMBERS OF ITS SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES A FIXED DOLLAR AMOUNT, AND ENABLES PARTICIPATING EMPLOYEES TO ALLOCATE THE AMOUNT AMONG CERTAIN TAXABLE BENEFIT OPTIONS (I.E., ADDITIONAL LIFE INSURANCE COVERAGES, LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL OR TAX PLANNING ASSISTANCE) OR TO NON-QUALIFIED DEFERRED COMPENSATION OPTIONS. THE ELECTIONS ARE MADE BEFORE THE YEAR IN WHICH THE BENEFIT PROGRAM AMOUNT IS PROVIDED. THE AMOUNTS ALLOCATED TO TAXABLE BENEFIT OPTIONS ARE INCLUDED WITHIN THE EMPLOYEES' FORM W-2, BOX 5, AS TAXABLE MEDICARE WAGES FOR THE YEAR IN WHICH THE ALLOCATIONS ARE EFFECTIVE. THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATED IN THE ORGANIZATION'S PERQUISITE PROGRAM: MATT D. BAKER, PA-C, DHSC AND WENDY JOY ROSS.
SCHEDULE J, PART I; QUESTION 4B
THE AMOUNT REFLECTED IN SCHEDULE J, PART II, COLUMN B(III) FOR THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUAL INCLUDES CURRENT YEAR VESTING IN AN INTERNAL REVENUE CODE SECTION 457(F) PLAN (NON-QUALIFIED DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN) AS THE AMOUNT WAS NO LONGER SUBJECT TO A SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF COMPLETE FORFEITURE. THE AMOUNT OUTLINED HEREIN WAS INCLUDED IN HIS 2023 FORM W-2, BOX 5, AS TAXABLE MEDICARE WAGES: MATT D. BAKER, PA-C, $21,063. THE DEFERRED COMPENSATION AMOUNT IN SCHEDULE J, PART II, COLUMN C FOR THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUAL INCLUDES UNVESTED BENEFITS IN AN INTERNAL REVENUE CODE SECTION 457(F) PLAN (NON-QUALIFIED DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN) WHICH IS SUBJECT TO A SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF COMPLETE FORFEITURE. ACCORDINGLY, THE INDIVIDUAL MAY NEVER ACTUALLY RECEIVE THIS UNVESTED BENEFIT AMOUNT. THE AMOUNT OUTLINED HEREIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN His 2023 FORM W-2, BOX 5, AS TAXABLE MEDICARE WAGES: GEOFFREY CROMARTY, ED.D., $1,325.
SCHEDULE J, PART I; QUESTION 7
CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS INCLUDED IN SCHEDULE J, PART II RECEIVED A BONUS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2023 WHICH WAS INCLUDED IN COLUMN B(II) HEREIN AND IN EACH INDIVIDUAL'S 2023 FORM W-2, BOX 5, AS TAXABLE MEDICARE WAGES. PLEASE REFER TO THIS SECTION OF THE FORM 990, SCHEDULE J FOR THIS INFORMATION BY PERSON BY AMOUNT.
