• THE ORGANIZATION HELD FOUR KEY EVENTS. IN 2022-2023, THE GOLF OUTING WAS A KEY NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY (AUGUST 2022), THE HOLIDAY EVENT (DECEMBER 2022) WAS IN PERSON OFFERING NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, THE TOP 10 EVENT CELEBRATING EXEMPLARY WOMEN IN BUSINESS HELD AS A BREAKFAST EVENT (MARCH 2023), THE 2023 ANNUAL MEETING & PRESIDENT'S RECEPTION WAS HELD IN PERSON AND INDUCTS THE INCOMING BOARD, RECOGNIZES THE OUTGOING BOARD, AND INCLUDES THE PRESIDENT'S ANNUAL REPORT (JUNE 2023). HELD ONE VIRTUAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP FREE TO MEMBERS CALLED PREPARING YOURSELF FOR GROWTH AND AN IN-PERSON BUSINESS RESOURCE DAY, A HALF DAY EXPO ORGANIZED FOR NAWBO MEMBERS AND GUEST ENTREPRENEURS TO CONNECT WITH RESOURCES TO HELP THEM GROW SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSES. LADIES OVER LUNCH IS A MONTHLY LUNCHEON BETWEEN BOARD MEMBERS AND NAWBO MEMBERS, AS WELL AS NON-MEMBERS. THE LUNCH TAKES PLACE USUALLY ON THE FIRST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH (EXCEPT SUMMER, MARCH and DECEMBER). DURING THE LUNCHEON WE PROVIDE UPDATES ON NAWBO AND HAVE INTRODUCTIONS FROM EVERYONE IN THE ROOM FOR A MORE TARGETED AND PERSONAL NETWORKING EVENT. IT IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO INCREASE MEMBERSHIP AND SHOW THE BENEFITS OF JOINING NAWBO.

• MAINTAIN A WEBSITE WITH TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO HELP WOMEN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES GROW AND THRIVE; ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTERS PROVIDES TIMELY INFORMATION OF BENEFIT TO WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS AND PROSPECTS

• PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS FOR WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS; BUSINESS EXPOS, ANNUAL MEETING AWARDS RECOGNITION AND LEGISLATOR MEETINGS ARE ALL EVENTS THAT PROMOTE WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS, PROVIDING OPPORTUNITY AND EDUCATION.
