Activities or mission (Part I)
Create and professionally support one to one mentoring relationships that ignite the promise in us all.
-
The Organization recruited and matched youth with big brothers and sisters volunteers throughout rural communities and towns and cities throughout Yavapai County at no cost to the participants. The Organization provided support to the volunteer, child and guardians as well as in person and virtual evaluations with all parties by professionally degreed and trained social workers, fostering safe, meaningful lifelong relationships between youth and their caring adult mentors. The Organization launched expansion of services to youth beyond age 18, up to age 24, addressing community needs to further support disengaged youth. Also, the Organization crafted and implemented volunteer focused training curriculum supporting soft skill development for Bigs to assist their Littles, including workshops, materials and deeper match support.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
