SINCE ITS FOUNDING IN 2011, LAUREL ACADEMY HAS GROWN FROM TWO TEACHERS AND STAFF IN A SINGLE CLASSROOM TO A TEAM OF 22 TEACHERS AND STAFF OPERATING 9 CLASSROOMS SPREAD ACROSS A 1.7 ACRE CAMPUS. THE SMALL GROUP OF STUDENTS AND FAMILIES WE SERVED AT OUR INCEPTION HAS BLOSSOMED INTO A COMMUNITY OF OVER 100 STUDENTS AND FAMILIES; WITH THOSE EARLIEST KINDERGARTENERS NOW EXCELLING IN ADVANCED PLACEMENT AND COLLEGE LEVEL COURSES AS THEY APPROACH HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION. BUT LAUREL ACADEMY'S GROWTH IS MORE THAN JUST NUMBERS. THE QUALITY AND CONNECTION OF OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY CONTINUES TO SHINE WITH SPECIAL EVENTS, FIELD TRIPS AND PERFORMANCES EACH SEMESTER. OUR PARENTS ARE ACTIVE AND ENGAGED WITH VOLUNTEER PROJECTS TO MAKE A STRONGER AND SAFER SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT. AND PERHAPS MORE IMPORTANTLY, THEY ARE SETTING THE EXAMPLE OF INVOLVEMENT AND PARTICIPATION WE WANT OUR STUDENTS TO CONTINUOUSLY OBSERVE. LAUREL ACADEMY IS A DYNAMIC AND THRIVING ORGANIZATION WITH ITS MISSION AND VALUES FRONT AND CENTER EVERY SCHOOL DAY.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
