Mission and programs · 2023

Mission

Our mission is to promote a world where all beings live a just life of dignity and respect. To this end, we engage in practical actions, raise funds, spread understanding and foster compassion.

  • Resilient Consumers: This year we engaged a total audience of over 3.7 Million with the vegan message. These efforts have translated into 38,848 21-Day Dairy Free pledges across India, equating to 1,165,440 reduced animal-based meals each month, with a focus on dairy.

    Expenses $78,866

  • Resilient Farming: Secured industry agreement by engaging 104 sectoral stakeholders to ban antibiotics as growth promoters, and improve living conditions in poultry, thereby impriving farming practices that would impact 108 million poultry birds.

    Expenses $52,577

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
