Mission and programs · 2025

Mission

The Isaac Bruce Foundation focuses on educating kids about health, wellness, fitness, and education. Through the foundation, we reach out to the youth to teach them at an early age about the importance of a healthy lifestyle with a focus on education.

  • Flight 300 Program: The Isaac Bruce Foundations Flight 300 Program provides transportation to college bound students in need. When Isaac graduated high school, he had a scholarship to a junior college in California, but he needed to find a way to get there. He was provided money for a flight and is now making that difference for students in need.

    Expenses $128,594

  • Scholarship Program: The scholarship program began in 2008 and provides scholarships to students in St. Louis, Broward County, and University of Memphis annually. In order to apply for the scholarships, students must be college bound high school seniors and must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale).

    Expenses $12,500 · Grants $12,500

  • Free Football Clinic: The football clinic program promotes health and fitness while providing an opportunity for kids to have fun.

    Expenses $4,534

  • Donations Program: The charitable merchandise program donates autographed items for other 501(c)(3) organizations.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
