Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

The filer's explanations (Part III)

PART I, LINE 3
CATHOLIC HEALTH CARE SYSTEM D/B/A ARCHCARE UNDERTAKES A RIGOROUS PROCESS TO ENSURE THAT ITS EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION IS REASONABLE. TOWARD THAT END, THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES HAS A COMPENSATION COMMITTEE OF INDEPENDENT PERSONS THAT HAVE NO PERSONAL INTEREST IN ANY PROPOSED COMPENSATION ARRANGEMENT. THE BOARD ENGAGED AN INDEPENDENT COMPENSATION CONSULTANT WHO CONDUCTED INDEPENDENT RESEARCH AND UTILIZED A WIDE RANGE OF INDUSTRY DATA TO DEVELOP COMPARABILITY OR BENCHMARKING DATA FOR APPROPRIATE LEVELS OF COMPENSATION FOR TOP MANAGEMENT, OFFICERS, AND KEY EMPLOYEES. THE CONSULTANT PROJECTED THE DATA FOR THE FOLLOWING THREE YEARS FOR EACH SALARY LEVEL. THE COMPENSATION COMMITTEE, TAKING THE CONSULTANT'S RECOMMENDATIONS UNDER ADVISEMENT, HELD A MEETING AT WHICH CONTEMPORANEOUS MINUTES WERE KEPT AND AT THAT MEETING DETERMINED TO MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES. THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES THEN CONSIDERED AND APPROVED THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE COMPENSATION COMMITTEE, WHICH APPROVAL WAS RECORDED IN THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES. IN 2024, THE CONSULTANT UPDATED ITS REVIEW OF THE COMPENSATION STRUCTURE OF TOP MANAGEMENT, OFFICERS, AND KEY EMPLOYEES FOLLOWING THE METHOD DESCRIBED ABOVE. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION UPDATED ITS REVIEW OF THE COMPENSATION STRUCTURE FOR ALL OTHER POSITIONS (NON-UNION).
PART I, LINE 4B
SCOTT P. LA RUE AND ANNMARIE COVONE PARTICIPATED IN A SUPPLEMENTAL NONQUALIFIED RETIREMENT PLAN. CATHOLIC HEALTH CARE SYSTEM D/B/A ARCHCARE DISTRIBUTED $205,783 TO SCOTT AND $114,139 TO ANNMARIE IN THEIR 2024 W-2S.
PART I, LINE 7
THE ORGANIZATION PAID DISCRETIONARY BONUSES TO CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS LISTED IN PART II AS REPORTED IN COLUMN B(II) FOR THE APPLICABLE INDIVIDUALS.

Part I's answers as filed. A line not listed was left unanswered; on lines 1a and 3 that means the box was not checked.
