Mission and programs · 2022

Mission

Crossing Cultures International, Inc. exists to glorify God by equipping Christ followers globally with comprehensive training for effective ministry.

  • Crossing Cultures International uses 4 training programs for training pastors and church leaders that covers basic seminary training. These training programs are translated and printed into the native languages of local pastors. Over 115 national coordinators oversee these training programs. During 2022, we trained 795 potential teachers in 20 countries in using the BTCP curriculum. This resulted in 156 new classes with 2,001 new students. As of Dec 2022, we oversee 625 classes in 37 countries with 7,700 national church leaders in training through the BTCP program. 61 classes with 705 students finished the BTCP training in 2022. With our Gods Financial Principles seminar, we trained 2,147 participants in understanding what the Bible teaches about money and stewardship: working with the abilities God has given us, getting out of debt, following a simple budget, learning to give generously, and honesty and integrity with money. With our Advanced Expository Preaching Seminar, we trained 24 participants. Three seminars on Resolving Conflict in a Godly Way were held with 239 participants. Other seminars on Family and Marriage and Biblical Love and Dating were held, as well as Church Administration, and Evangelism & Discipleship. Teachers Conferences were held in Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam (in person) and the Philippines (twice online). Relief efforts were made in Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Haiti, and the Philippines with over 500 families. As of December 2022, we now have over 8,519 graduates through the BTCP 10 course curriculum covering 520 class hours, 6,908 trainees of the Gods Financial Principle Seminar, and 1,289 trainees of the Advanced Expository Preaching Seminar. In 2022, we saw 29 new churches started with over 1,500 in average weekly attendance. Currently, we are working with 27 language translation projects for the CCI Training materials. 155 different people groups are being reached with CCI training. $59,000 was collected outside the USA as payment for books, seminar registration fees, and local donations.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
