Primary exempt purpose
THE MISSION OF THE MEXICAN CULTURAL CENTER IS TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING AND AWARENESS OF THE CULTURAL AND ARTISTIC DIVERSITY OF MEXICO AND ITS INFLUENCE IN THE DELAWARE VALLEY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. THE CENTER SUPPORTS THE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE MEXICAN COMMUNITY IN PA, NJ AND DE AND FOSTERS UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN OUR NATIONS BY PROMOTING CULTURAL EXPRESSIONS, ART, INDUSTRY AND EDUCATION.

THE MCC CELEBRATES AND PROMOTES MEXICAN CULTURE THROUGH ANNUAL PROGRAMS, INCLUDING THE MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY, DAY OF THE DEAD, MEXICAN WEEK, AMONG OTHERS. SPECIAL EVENTS INCLUDE FAMILY ACTIVITIES, LECTURES AND EXHIBITIONS ABOUT MEXICAN HISTORY, CULTURE, CUISINE, AND TRADITIONS EITHER ON-LINE OR AT INPERSON EVENTS. THE MCC ALSO HOSTS MUSICAL EVENTS FEATURING MUSIC PERFORMED BY MEXICAN ARTISTS, AS WELL AS DANCE PERFORMANCES. ALL WITH THE OBJECTIVE TO BRING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER THROUGH ART AND EDUCATE OTHERS ABOUT MEXICAN CULTURE.
