Primary exempt purpose
The Colorado Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is established to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advocate the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members.

AILA has continued its participation in pro bono efforts by supporting the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN) in its efforts to address the needs of detained immigrants and provide pro bono assistance to immigrant children, among other services RMIAN provides to the immigrant community of Colorado. AILA supported RMIAN by providing a $6,000 grant to the organization. In addition, AILA provided another $6,000 in grants to other non profit and charitable organizations serving the immigrant community for a total of $12,000 in grant awards.
