Mission

OK Tennis Foundation changes lives across Oklahoma by sharing tennis and promoting education, providing grants and scholarships, supporting organizations and programs that enhance lives through tennis, and celebrating and promoting tennis throughout Oklahoma communities.

Activities or mission (Part I)

OKLAHOMA TENNIS FOUNDATION POSITIVELY IMPACTS LIVES BY SUPPORTING AND FUNDING ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROMOTE TENNIS AND EDUCATION THROUGHOUT THE GREAT STATE OF OKLAHOMA.

  • The Oklahoma Tennis Foundation strengthens tennis opportunities throughout Oklahoma by providing grants and financial support to community tennis organizations and programs that expand access to quality tennis experiences. These investments support initiatives that promote inclusion, health and wellness, education, character development, and lifelong participation in tennis. Through its grantmaking, the Foundation helps community organizations develop and sustain programs that introduce new participants to tennis while strengthening opportunities for existing players. By investing in programs across the state, the Foundation seeks to ensure that tennis remains accessible, impactful, and sustainable in communities throughout Oklahoma. In 2025, the Oklahoma Tennis Foundation invested more than 145,000 in tennis programs statewide, supporting initiatives that advance the Foundation mission of promoting tennis and education and creating meaningful opportunities for individuals and communities to benefit from the sport.

    Expenses $108,255

  • The Oklahoma Tennis Foundation expands access to tennis through free outreach clinics and community partnerships across Oklahoma. Volunteer Oklahoma Tennis Hall of Fame members, tennis professionals, and community partners introduce youth to the sport through free instruction, mentorship, and equipment while promoting confidence, healthy lifestyles, and positive community connections. Outreach efforts also include partnerships that support Special Olympics Oklahoma, helping maintain tennis as an official sport, and collaboration with USTA Oklahoma to establish the Oklahoma Tennis Hall of Fame at Edmond Center Court. These activities advance the Foundations mission of promoting tennis and education while making the sport more accessible to communities across Oklahoma. During the reporting period, the Foundation hosted seven outreach clinics, serving approximately 226 children. Key partnerships included Special Olympics Oklahoma and USTA Oklahoma, further strengthening opportunities for participation and growth in the sport throughout the state.

    Expenses $21,048

  • The Oklahoma Tennis Foundation provides scholarships to deserving students and high-performance student-athletes, helping them pursue educational opportunities while continuing their participation and development in tennis. Through these scholarships, the Foundation advances its mission of promoting tennis and education throughout Oklahoma by investing in students who demonstrate commitment to academic achievement, athletic excellence, and personal growth. In 2025, the Foundation awarded 92,500 in scholarships to 23 students, providing meaningful financial support to help recipients pursue their academic and athletic goals. These awards reflect the Foundation commitment to expanding access to educational opportunities and supporting the continued development of Oklahoma student-athletes both on and off the court.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. Earlier years are each on their own filing page.

Nonprofiteer parses Forms 990, 990-EZ and 990-PF, in a window of recent tax years. These returns are recorded from the IRS e-file index, so their figures were extracted by that index rather than read from the return here — treat them as a different source from the filings above, not as more of the same record. A dash means the index carries no figure; Form 990-T listings carry none at all.

Auto-Revocation List

Not listed. The IRS publishes this list for organizations whose exemption was automatically revoked for failing to file for three consecutive years.

Publication 78

Listed as of 13 October 2026, under deductibility PC.

These are two separate IRS files on two separate schedules, shown as published and not reconciled with each other. Neither is a statement about whether a contribution is deductible today: 19,245 organizations appear in Publication 78 while the IRS's own revocation file lists them as currently revoked, more than half of those revoked before 2019. Absence from Publication 78 is evidence of nothing, and presence is not evidence either. Verify current status with the IRS before relying on it.
