Mission
BUILDING A DIVERSE GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT TO ADDRESS THE CAUSES OF CLIMATE DISRUPTION THROUGH JUSTICE-BASED SOLUTIONS BY INSPIRING, TRAINING AND MOBILIZING PEOPLE TO ACT.
-
IN 2024, 350PDX ADVANCED CLIMATE JUSTICE THROUGH ELECTIONS, LEGISLATION, AND COMMUNITY ACTION. LOCAL ELECTIONS: DURING PORTLAND'S GOVERNANCE RESTRUCTURE, WE CO-HOSTED EDUCATIONAL TOURS ON SHADE EQUITY, THE CRITICAL ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE (CEI) HUB, PORTLAND HARBOR, THE PORTLAND CLEAN ENERGY FUND, AND FREEWAY EXPANSION. DISTRICT-BASED FORUMS DREW HUNDREDS OF VOTERS, AND 59 CANDIDATES PROVIDED STATEMENTS FOR THE CLIMATE JUSTICE VOTER GUIDE. TEN NEWLY ELECTED CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS AND THE MAYOR-ELECT EXPRESSED SUPPORT FOR STRONG CLIMATE JUSTICE POLICIES. STATE LEGISLATION: THE 350PDX-INITIATED DIVEST OREGON COALITION SECURED PASSAGE OF THE COAL ACT, MAKING OREGON THE THIRD STATE TO DIVEST PUBLIC FUNDS FROM COAL. CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTS: STATE FORESTS: THE OREGON BOARD OF FORESTRY ADOPTED A 70-YEAR HABITAT CONSERVATION PLAN, PROTECTING HALF OF WESTERN STATE FORESTS FOR THREATENED SPECIES. URBAN SHADE EQUITY: PORTLAND COMMITTED $65 MILLION FOR TREE MAINTENANCE AND $40 MILLION FOR PLANTING, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON LOW-CANOPY NEIGHBORHOODS. WE ALSO HELPED PASS PERMANENT PROTECTIONS FOR LARGE TREES. STOPPING FALSE SOLUTIONS: ADVOCACY STALLED THE PROPOSED DRAX BIOMASS EXPORT PLANT IN WASHINGTON BY RAISING AWARENESS OF THE HARMS OF INDUSTRIAL FOREST BIOMASS. STOPPING ZENITH ENERGY: OUR ORGANIZING ELEVATED ZENITH'S OIL TRAINS AS A KEY ELECTION ISSUE AND LED THE OREGON DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY TO PAUSE ZENITH'S PERMIT PROCESS FOR FURTHER REVIEW. JUSTICE IN THE CEI HUB: WE HOSTED SEVEN "RUMBLE ON THE RIVER" FORUMS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT RISKS FROM FOSSIL FUEL STORAGE ALONG THE WILLAMETTE RIVER. UTILITY JUSTICE: IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PEOPLE'S ACTION AND 350 DESCHUTES, WE LAUNCHED A CAMPAIGN FOR DEMOCRATIZED UTILITIES AND ORGANIZED OPPOSITION TO THE GTN XPRESS PIPELINE EXPANSION. ARTS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: THE 350PDX ARTS TEAM ESTABLISHED A CLIMATE JUSTICE WORKSHOP, PRODUCING BANNERS, PUPPETS, AND VISUALS FOR CAMPAIGNS AND DEMONSTRATIONS. WE ALSO REVIVED CLIMATE ODYSSEY, A PROGRAM SUPPORTING ACTIVIST RESILIENCE AND LEADERSHIP. COMMUNITY POWER: WE ORGANIZED MONTHLY ACTION NIGHTS, CREATED PUBLIC ART AND MEDIA, FACILITATED FORUMS WITH CITY OFFICIALS, LED TOURS OF THE CEI HUB AND PORTLAND HARBOR, AND MARCHED IN COMMUNITY EVENTS WITH OUR LARGE-SCALE CLIMATE JUSTICE PUPPETS. CONCLUSION: IN 2024, 350PDX ACHIEVED SIGNIFICANT VICTORIES IN ELECTIONS, STATE POLICY, FOREST PROTECTION, AND URBAN EQUITY, WHILE STRENGTHENING GRASSROOTS ORGANIZING AND BUILDING COMMUNITY RESILIENCE FOR LONG-TERM CLIMATE JUSTICE."

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. Earlier years are each on their own filing page.

Nonprofiteer parses Forms 990, 990-EZ and 990-PF, in a window of recent tax years. These returns are recorded from the IRS e-file index, so their figures were extracted by that index rather than read from the return here — treat them as a different source from the filings above, not as more of the same record. A dash means the index carries no figure; Form 990-T listings carry none at all.

Auto-Revocation List
Not listed. The IRS publishes this list for organizations whose exemption was automatically revoked for failing to file for three consecutive years.
Publication 78
Listed as of 13 October 2026, under deductibility PC.
These are two separate IRS files on two separate schedules, shown as published and not reconciled with each other. Neither is a statement about whether a contribution is deductible today: 19,245 organizations appear in Publication 78 while the IRS's own revocation file lists them as currently revoked, more than half of those revoked before 2019. Absence from Publication 78 is evidence of nothing, and presence is not evidence either. Verify current status with the IRS before relying on it.
