Mission and programs · 2022
Primary exempt purpose
Charitable / Service -- serving our community and surrounding area through projects involving education & libraries, arts & culture, health & wellness, civic outreach, and environmental awareness.
-
Environment: Annual Cleanup Campaign involves volunteers who clean up litter and trash in the community. Participants include school groups, Scouts, family groups, interested businesses, church groups, city workers, and individuals. Our club works with the city to provide proper equipment for safety and statistics for their reports. The last campaign resulted in the gathering of 43 55-gal bags of trash by 90+ volunteers using 218 man hours. The cleanup allows volunteers to get service hours, creates civic pride, beautifies our area, and creates awareness.

Health & Wellness: Our Club sponsored a Mobile Mammogram Unit for the first time. The need was so great that we served 3 times the minimum number of clients and the hospital providing the bus encouraged us to make it a semi-annual event. We agreed. Our club coordinated the time, place, signups, thank you favors, and registering. This event provided convenience, created awareness, and showed our community they are cared about.
Expenses $1,400 · Grants $1,400

Education: Our Annual Stiles Scholarship has been an ongoing philanthropy since 2012. Our goal is to provide a high school graduate bound for an area technical school with some financial assistance. The high school counselors and teachers encourage those who they think are deserving to apply. We present the recipient with the scholarship on awards day. Our goal is to help a student who is motivated, goal and career oriented, who may not get any other type of award. We reward hard work and create pride as well as practical help.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. Earlier years are each on their own filing page.

As filed, from the IRS e-Postcard file of 26 October 2026. The IRS publishes only each organization's most recent postcard, so earlier years are not shown. A 990-N carries no financial detail. The postcard also gives the principal officer's address, which is not shown here.
Grants made
No itemized grants to organizations. Schedule I is filed only by organizations that granted more than $5,000 to a recipient, so most filers have none.
Grants received
No itemized grant names this organization as a recipient. Only grants over $5,000 are itemized, and only by filers of the full Form 990.

Publication 78
Not present in the most recent drop.
These are two separate IRS files on two separate schedules, shown as published and not reconciled with each other. Neither is a statement about whether a contribution is deductible today: 19,245 organizations appear in Publication 78 while the IRS's own revocation file lists them as currently revoked, more than half of those revoked before 2019. Absence from Publication 78 is evidence of nothing, and presence is not evidence either. Verify current status with the IRS before relying on it.
