Mission
TO PROVIDE NUTRITIOUS SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD TO THE TETON VALLEY COMMUNITY. WE WANT EVERY PERSON WHO LIVES WITH FOOD INSECURITY TO HAVE HEALTHY FOOD AVAILABLE.
-
OUR MISSION STATEMENT EMBODIES WHO WE ARE FOR TETON VALLEY. NOT ONLY DO WE OFFER SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD FOR THOSE IN NEED, BUT WE ALSO COLLABORATE WITH MANY OTHER NONPROFITS OFFERING HEALTHY SNACKS FOR THEIR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS, AS THEY ARE EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTY IN SUPPLYING SNACKS. OUR PERSONAL SHOPPING MODEL OFFERS OUR NEIGHBORS THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE THE FOODS THEY WANT, INSTEAD OF JUST OFFERING A BOX WITH ITEMS THEY MAY OR MAY NOT LIKE. THIS OFFERS DIGNITY TO OUR NEIGHBORS AND PROVIDES A FULFILLED PURPOSE FOR OUR VOLUNTEERS WHERE THEY KNOW THEY ARE MAKING A BIG DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONE'S LIFE. FEEDING AMERICA IS OUR PARTNER IN THE RESCUED FOODS THAT WE GET FROM OUR LOCAL GROCERY STORES. THIS GIVES AN ADDITIONAL 5000-6000 POUNDS ON AVERAGE PER MONTH TO OUR COMMUNITY. THERE ARE NO QUALIFICATIONS TO RECEIVE THIS FOOD. WE SEE MANY FAMILIES COMING IN MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK TO GET THE RESCUED FOODS. WE SERVE OVER 241 HOUSEHOLDS PER WEEK FOR THEIR SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD FROM THE PANTRY. MANY BUSINESSES, CHURCHES AND INDIVIDUALS HOST A MONTHLY OR YEARLY FOOD DRIVE TO OFFSET THE COSTS FOR US. WEEKLY WE PURCHASE A MEAT PROTEIN, EGGS, MILK, FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLE, IN ADDITION TO HEALTHY SNACKS FOR OUR SCHOOL CHILDREN. WE HAVE A STRONG RECURRING MONTHLY FINANCIAL DONOR BASE. WE ENCOURAGE RESTAURANTS AND PEOPLE TO DONATE FROM THEIR HOME PANTRIES TO OFFSET OUR COSTS. MANY LOCAL FARMERS GROW SPECIFICALLY FOR THE PANTRY TO PROVIDE FRESH VEGETABLES AND FRUIT THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER. AT THE END OF THE WEEKLY FARMERS MARKET, WE VISIT SPECIFIC BOOTHS THAT DONATE THEIR EXTRA PRODUCE.
Expenses $718,140
-
OUR COLLABORATIONS WITH CHILDREN INCLUDE SCHOOL SNACKS EACH WEEK, ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CLASSROOM (ABC) WHERE WE PROVIDE LUNCH FIXINGS ON FRIDAYS SINCE OUR DISTRICT WENT TO A FOUR-DAY SCHOOL WEEK, PLUS SNACKS FOR THEIR AFTER- SCHOOL PROGRAM; GIRLS ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING (GAP); TETON VALLEY LIBRARY MAKERSPACE, AND A BACKPACK PROGRAM SPONSORED BY THE IDAHO FOOD BANK. THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF CHILDREN SERVED DURING THESE PROGRAMS RANGE FROM 1000- 1500 PER MONTH.
Expenses $23,814
-
WE CONTINUE OUR COLLABORATIONS WITH SENIORS WEST OF THE TETONS (SWOT) BY PROVIDING WEEKLY CHECK IN CALLS ASKING IF THEY WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD FROM THE PANTRY, TO SENIORS PARTICIPATING IN THEIR MEALS ON WHEELS PROGRAM. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT SERVICE WE OFFER AND ONE THAT IS THE HIGHLIGHT IN OUR JOBS. THE COMMODITY SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAM (CSFP) IS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE IDAHO FOOD BANK, PROVIDING QUALIFYING SENIORS WITH A FOOD BOX OF EXTRA MONTHLY FOOD.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. Earlier years are each on their own filing page.

Nonprofiteer parses Forms 990, 990-EZ and 990-PF, in a window of recent tax years. These returns are recorded from the IRS e-file index, so their figures were extracted by that index rather than read from the return here — treat them as a different source from the filings above, not as more of the same record. A dash means the index carries no figure; Form 990-T listings carry none at all. Showing the 10 most recent; the API carries the rest.

Other IRS files
Auto-Revocation List
Not listed. The IRS publishes this list for organizations whose exemption was automatically revoked for failing to file for three consecutive years.
Publication 78
Listed as of 13 October 2026, under deductibility PC.
These are two separate IRS files on two separate schedules, shown as published and not reconciled with each other. Neither is a statement about whether a contribution is deductible today: 19,245 organizations appear in Publication 78 while the IRS's own revocation file lists them as currently revoked, more than half of those revoked before 2019. Absence from Publication 78 is evidence of nothing, and presence is not evidence either. Verify current status with the IRS before relying on it.
