Mission and programs · 2024

Mission

TO PROMOTE GOOD GOVERNANCE AND VETERAN LEADERSHIP IN PUBLIC SERVICE.

  • THE CHARITY IS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE VALUE OF VETERAN LEADERSHIP AND GOOD GOVERNANCE THROUGH COLLABORATION WITH SECTION 501(C) ORGANIZATIONS. THIS EFFORT WILL INCLUDE HOSTING BRIEFINGS AND MEETINGS, LAUNCHING MEDIA INITIATIVES, DELIVERING PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS, AND CONDUCTING OUTREACH WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS SUCH AS MEMBERS OF CONGRESS, VETERANS, VETERAN SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS, OTHER NONPROFITS WITH SHARED OBJECTIVES, BUSINESS LEADERS, AND INTERESTED GROUPS TO BUILD A STRONG NETWORK OF SUPPORT AND AWARENESS.

    Expenses $210,637

  • THE CHARITY PLANS TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO SECTION 501(C) ORGANIZATIONS THAT ADVANCE PRINCIPLED VETERAN LEADERSHIP AND VALUES IN PUBLIC SERVICE. ALTHOUGH SPECIFIC GRANTEES ARE NOT YET IDENTIFIED, THE CHARITY ANTICIPATES THAT MOST, IF NOT ALL, WILL BE TAX-EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE CODE. TO ENSURE PROPER USE OF FUNDS, THE CHARITY WILL CONDUCT PRE-GRANT INQUIRIES, ESTABLISH GRANT AGREEMENTS PROHIBITING POLITICAL CAMPAIGN INTERVENTION, REQUIRE REPORTING ON FUND USAGE, CONDUCT OVERSIGHT, AND RETAIN RECORDS TO MAINTAIN ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY.

    Expenses $246,401 · Grants $246,401

  • THE CHARITY AIMS TO PRODUCE AND DISSEMINATE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS FOCUSED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF GOOD GOVERNANCE, UTILIZING ITS OWN DIRECT ACTIVITIES SUCH AS MEDIA ENGAGEMENTS AND PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS TO ENHANCE PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING, WHILE SPECIFICALLY TARGETING VETERANS AND VETERAN SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS FOR TAILORED OUTREACH TO HIGHLIGHT THEIR LEADERSHIP CONTRIBUTIONS.

As filed on the 2024 return.

Officers and directors · 2024

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. Earlier years are each on their own filing page.

Auto-Revocation List

Not listed. The IRS publishes this list for organizations whose exemption was automatically revoked for failing to file for three consecutive years.

Publication 78

Listed as of 13 October 2026, under deductibility PC.

These are two separate IRS files on two separate schedules, shown as published and not reconciled with each other. Neither is a statement about whether a contribution is deductible today: 19,245 organizations appear in Publication 78 while the IRS's own revocation file lists them as currently revoked, more than half of those revoked before 2019. Absence from Publication 78 is evidence of nothing, and presence is not evidence either. Verify current status with the IRS before relying on it.
