Activities or mission (Part I)

The Demand Project's mission (TDP) is to eradicate child trafficking, online enticement, child sexual abuse material, and the commercial sexual exploitation of children. TDP executes this mission through a comprehensive strategy focused on community prevention and education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and multi-disciplinary long-term residential and non-residential programs for minor survivors.

  • Restoration - TDP provides a continuum of trauma-informed restorative care for minor victims of sex trafficking and exploitation at no cost. This includes 24/7 crisis response (64% involving minors, 36% adults), victim advocacy, court support, and non-residential care. It also includes long-term care at Mount Arukah, a 54-acre campus running the 2-year, 23-level Journey to Freedom program. In 2025, Mount Arukah served 7 minor residents (4 new), celebrated 2 full program graduates, transitioned 1 resident into public school, and conducted over 40 life-skills classes and 13 educational field trips. Non-residential efforts also achieved multi-generational family reunification.

    Expenses $575,322

  • Prevention - TDP equips youth, parents, educators, and leaders to recognize, report, and prevent child exploitation and digital threats. In 2025, TDP presented at no cost to over 5,000 individuals across schools, businesses, and churches (a 31% increase over 2024).

    Expenses $67,639

  • Volunteer & Community Engagement -In 2025, TDP onboarded 104 new volunteers (48% increase) and maintained 206 active, vetted volunteers who contributed 4,765 service hours valued at $165,774. TDP also hosted five major community events-including the Beyond Awareness Summit, Raising Hope Gala, and Golf Tournament and High Tee Women's Event - engaging nearly 1,000 attendees in anti-trafficking advocacy and education.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. Earlier years are each on their own filing page.

Nonprofiteer parses Forms 990, 990-EZ and 990-PF, in a window of recent tax years. These returns are recorded from the IRS e-file index, so their figures were extracted by that index rather than read from the return here — treat them as a different source from the filings above, not as more of the same record. A dash means the index carries no figure; Form 990-T listings carry none at all.

Grants made

No itemized grants to organizations. Schedule I is filed only by organizations that granted more than $5,000 to a recipient, so most filers have none.

Auto-Revocation List

Not listed. The IRS publishes this list for organizations whose exemption was automatically revoked for failing to file for three consecutive years.

Publication 78

Listed as of 13 October 2026, under deductibility PC.

These are two separate IRS files on two separate schedules, shown as published and not reconciled with each other. Neither is a statement about whether a contribution is deductible today: 19,245 organizations appear in Publication 78 while the IRS's own revocation file lists them as currently revoked, more than half of those revoked before 2019. Absence from Publication 78 is evidence of nothing, and presence is not evidence either. Verify current status with the IRS before relying on it.
