Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

The filer's explanations (Part III)
- PART I, LINE 3
- THE OFFICERS AND KEY EMPLOYEES OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE PAID BY GOODWIN HOUSE INCORPORATED, A RELATED TAX EXEMPT ORGANIZATION. GOODWIN HOUSE INCORPORATED USES A COMPENSATION COMMITTEE, AN INDEPENDENT COMPENSATION CONSULTANT, FORM 990 OF OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, COMPARATIVE COMPENSATION STUDIES, AND APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OR COMPENSATION COMMITTEE TO ESTABLISH COMPENSATION FOR OFFICERS AND KEY EMPLOYEES. WE ALSO PURCHASED A PRODUCT THAT ALLOWS US TO BENCHMARK THE MARKET. THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES CONDUCTS AN ANNUAL REVIEW OF THE PERFORMANCE AND COMPENSATION OF THE PRESIDENT AND CEO; RESULTS OF THE PERFORMANCE REVIEW AND WAGE ANALYSIS ARE SHARED WITH THE FULL BOARD, AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES ESTABLISHES THE COMPENSATION OF THE PRESIDENT AND CEO BASED ON THE DATA PRESENTED. ON A REGULAR (NOT ANNUAL) BASIS, AN OUTSIDE CONSULTANT IS RETAINED TO EVALUATE THE WAGES OF OTHER KEY EMPLOYEES, SUCH AS WAGES OF THE CFO, COO, CHIEF PHILANTHROPY OFFICER, CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER, CHIEF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER, AND CHIEF MARKETING & STRATEGY OFFICER. THE PROCESS DESCRIBED HERE WAS LAST COMPLETED IN 2025.
- PART I, LINE 4B
- THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS ELIGIBLE DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLANS UNDER SECTIONS 457(B) AND 457(F). THESE PLANS ARE INTENDED TO BE TOP HAT PLANS UNDER SECTION 201(2) OF THE EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT INCOME SECURITY ACT OF 1974. THE ORGANIZATION CONTRIBUTED $80,000 AND $128,333 TO THE SECTION 457 PLANS FOR THE YEARS ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2025 AND 2024, RESPECTIVELY. DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2024, DISTRIBUTIONS WERE MADE TO THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS FROM THE PLAN: ROBERT LIEBREICH: $37,914 LINDALYN HUTTER: $17,429
- PART I, LINE 5
- A RELATED ORGANIZATION, GOODWIN HOUSE INCORPORATED, HAS IN PLACE A SUPPLEMENTAL COMPENSATION PLAN FOR ITS EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM. AWARDS MADE UNDER THIS PLAN ARE BASED ON THE ATTAINMENT OF A NUMBER OF ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS, BOTH QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE. AMONG THESE GOALS ARE FINANCIAL TARGETS RELATED TO THE ACHIEVEMENT OF PLANNED LEVELS OF MANAGEMENT-CONTROLLABLE REVENUES AND EXPENSES. FUNDRAISING REVENUE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE FINANCIAL TARGETS.
- PART I, LINE 6
