5 other organizations in the IRS Business Master File list the same street address. matched by us

We match the street line and ZIP code as the IRS gives them, ignoring case and outer spaces and nothing else, so "AVE" and "AVENUE" count as different streets and this list can miss some. A shared address can mean related organizations or a shared office, but it can also be a registered agent, a mail drop or a service provider holding mail for unrelated clients. It is not, by itself, evidence that two organizations are connected.

Activities or mission (Part I)

SEE SCHEDULE O.GOODWIN LIVING FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE AS A TYPE I SUPPORTING FOUNDATION OF GOODWIN HOUSE INCORPORATED D/B/A GOODWIN LIVING. THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION: THROUGH THE POWER OF PHILANTHROPY, WE SEEK AND CELEBRATE GENEROSITY TO CARRY OUT THE MISSION OF GOODWIN LIVING, TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SECURITY TO RESIDENTS, TO ENABLE STAFF TO THRIVE IN THEIR CAREERS, AND TO SUPPORT INNOVATION, THUS ENHANCING THE LIVES OF OLDER ADULTS AND THOSE WHO CARE FOR THEM.

  • GOODWIN LIVING FOUNDATION RAISES FUNDS TO UNDERWRITE THE GOODWIN LIVING RESIDENT SUPPORT PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES CONFIDENTIAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO RESIDENTS WHO HAVE OUTLIVED THEIR FINANCIAL RESOURCES. THE RESIDENT SUPPORT PROGRAM COVERS THE MONTHLY FEES OF THOSE RESIDENTS WHO HAVE OUTLIVED THEIR RESOURCES, THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN. THESE FEES COVER HOUSING, MEALS, MEDICAL CARE, AND THE VARIOUS PROGRAMMING OFFERED THROUGH GOODWIN HOUSE ALEXANDRIA, GOODWIN HOUSE BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, AND THE VIEW ALEXANDRIA. THE RESIDENT SUPPORT PROGRAM ALSO COVERS FINANCIAL NEEDS FOR THOSE RESIDENTS WHO CAN PAY THEIR MONTHLY FEES, BUT WHO CANNOT AFFORD UNEXPECTED EXPENSES SUCH AS A DENTAL SURGERY OR A VISION-SAVING EYE SURGERY. THE RESIDENT SUPPORT PROGRAM IS AT THE HEART OF THE MISSION OF GOODWIN LIVING AND ENABLES OLDER ADULTS IN NEED OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO LIVE WITH THE PEACE OF MIND THAT THEIR HOUSING, SERVICE, AND CARE NEEDS WILL ALWAYS BE MET. THIS PEACE OF MIND EXTENDS TO THE FAMILY MEMBERS OF OUR RESIDENT RECIPIENTS AS WELL. IN FISCAL YEAR 2025, THE FOUNDATION GRANTED $565,007 TO GOODWIN LIVING TO PROVIDE FOR RESIDENT SUPPORT RECIPIENTS. GOODWIN LIVING FOUNDATION PROVIDED 100% OF THE RESIDENT SUPPORT PROGRAM EXPENSES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025. THE FOUNDATION RAISED $613,449 RESTRICTED FOR RESIDENT SUPPORT AND ANY BALANCE OF FUNDS NOT USED IN THE CURRENT YEAR WILL BE RESTRICTED FOR THAT USE THE FOLLOWING YEAR.

WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR MEMBERS OF THE GRANTS COMMITTEE WHICH VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME ON A WEEKLY BASIS TO EVALUATE AND REVIEW GRANT APPLICATIONS. THEIR DILIGENCE AND SUPPORT HELP US TO OFFER A FAIR AND SYSTEMATIC APPROACH TO REVIEWING THE FINANCIAL GRANT APPLICATIONS. GRANT RECIPIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE AT LEAST THREE MODULES OF THE TRUIST FINANCIAL EDUCATION CURRICULUM AT NO COST TO THEM. IN DOING SO, THE TEAM MEMBERS LEARN TO SET UP A BUDGET AND SAVE FOR EMERGENCIES AS WELL AS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE OTHER ASPECTS OF FINANCIAL EDUCATION AND GROWTH.WE OFFERED STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT FOR OUR CLINICAL TEAM MEMBERS AT THE SAME LEVEL OF TUITION BENEFITS. The first 25 listed. Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us. Earlier years are each on their own filing page.

A dash means the index carries no figure; Form 990-T listings carry none at all. Showing the 10 most recent; the API carries the rest.

Auto-Revocation List

Not listed. The IRS publishes this list for organizations whose exemption was automatically revoked for failing to file for three consecutive years.

Publication 78

Listed as of 13 October 2026, under deductibility SO.

These are two separate IRS files on two separate schedules, shown as published and not reconciled with each other. Neither is a statement about whether a contribution is deductible today: 19,245 organizations appear in Publication 78 while the IRS's own revocation file lists them as currently revoked, more than half of those revoked before 2019. Absence from Publication 78 is evidence of nothing, and presence is not evidence either. Verify current status with the IRS before relying on it.
