Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

The filer's explanations (Part III)

PART I, LINE 1A
THE ORGANIZATION ALLOWS CERTAIN OFFICERS/DIRECTORS OF THE ORGANIZATION TO UTILIZE BUSINESS AND/OR FIRST CLASS TRAVEL OPTIONS ON FLIGHTS OF SIGNIFICANT LENGTH. FLIGHTS ARE EVALUATED FOR QUALIFICATION WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE ORGANIZATION'S POLICY AND MUST MEET LENGTH OF TRAVEL SPECIFICATIONS IN ORDER TO QUALIFY. ELIGIBLE DIRECTORS ARE THE ORGANIZATION'S BOARD PRESIDENT AND PRESIDENT-ELECT. THE ORGANIZATION'S CEO, COO AND OTHER NCEES REPRESENTATIVES MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR BUSINESS AND/OR FIRST CLASS TRAVEL IF APPROVED BY THE BOARD PRESIDENT AND/OR CEO. THIS TRAVEL IS NONTAXABLE AS IT IS FOR BUSINESS PURPOSES ONLY.
PART I, LINE 4B

THE PURPOSE OF THE PLAN IS TO CREATE AN INCENTIVE FOR KEY EMPLOYEES TO REMAIN EMPLOYED BY NCEES FOR A DESIRED LENGTH OF TIME, USUALLY SEVERAL YEARS. IN AUGUST 2021, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS VOTED TO FREEZE THE DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN, EFFECTIVELY ENDING FURTHER ELECTIVE DEFERRALS. IN OCTOBER 2023, THE PLAN WAS TERMINATED.
PART I, LINE 7
THE ORGANIZATION DOES AWARD BONUSES AS PART OF ITS COMPENSATION PLAN. THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER RECEIVED A BONUS PAYMENT BASED ON PERFORMANCE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE COMPENSATION COMMITTEE. EMPLOYEES RECEIVED BONUS PAYMENTS BASED ON PERFORMANCE AT THE DISCRETION OF MANAGEMENT. BONUS PAYMENTS ARE REPORTED IN SCHEDULE J, PART II, COLUMN B(II).
