IT IS THE ONLY ORGANIZATION IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA DEDICATED TO BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF NONPROFITS. WE CREATE AND CURATE PROGRAMS, RESOURCES, CONSULTING, RESEARCH, COACHING, CONVENING, AND ADVOCACY WITH THE INPUT OF OUR MEMBERS AND BASED ON OUR TWO DECADES OF EXPERIENCE. OUR EMPHASIS IN THE PAST YEAR HAS BEEN ON CAPACITY BUILDING THAT INCLUDES A COMMITMENT TO DATA AND EVALUATION AS SEEN WITH OUR LAUNCH OF CATALYST AND THE NORTHEAST FLORIDA COMMUNITY INDICATORS PROJECT, SHARED SERVICES EXPLORATION, AND MEETING THE INCREASED DEMAND OUR MEMBERS ARE STRUGGLING WITH IN A TIGHT LABOR MARKET.THE NONPROFIT CENTER IS A MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION WITH 370 DIVERSE NONPROFIT MEMBERS REPRESENTING THOUSANDS OF EMPLOYEES AND SERVING A COMPLEX SET OF CONSTITUENTS AND COMMUNITIES IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA. WE KNOW THAT NONPROFIT MEMBERSHIP IS A BAROMETER OF OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RELEVANCE AND ARE PROUD TO HAVE PROVEN OUR VALUE TO BOTH OUR LONG-TIME MEMBERS AS WELL AS OUR NEW AND GROWING CONSTITUENTS.THE SERVICES WE OFFER INCLUDE THE HIGHEST-QUALITY NONPROFIT PROGRAMMING, CONSULTING, ADVOCACY, AND RESOURCE-SHARING. LIKE OUR MEMBERSHIP STATISTICS, OUR INDICATORS OF PROGRAM SUCCESS ARE OUTPACING PRIOR YEARS. THE NUMBER OF PERSONS ATTENDING A NONPROFIT CENTER PROGRAM ROSE 7% OVER LAST YEAR, GROWING TO 1,924 AND INCREASING UNRESTRICTED PROGRAM REVENUE BY 37%. PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS ALSO REPORTED AN AVERAGE SATISFACTION RATING OF 4.8 OUT OF A POSSIBLE 5. THE NONPROFIT CENTER IS PROUD TO SHARE FROM MEMBER RESPONSES COLLECTED ON OUR ANNUAL SURVEY THAT THE MOST HELPFUL RESOURCES LISTED BY OUR MEMBERS WAS THE NONPROFIT CENTER STAFF AS A RESOURCE VIA CALL, EMAIL, OR ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS, TRAININGS, AND WEBINARS. NONPROFITS ARE OUR PRIMARY CUSTOMERS, BUT THE BROADER COMMUNITY IS ALSO AN AUDIENCE THAT WE TRY TO INFLUENCE WITH COMMUNICATIONS, MARKETING AND ADVOCACY. THROUGH OUR MONTHLY RESOURCE NEWSLETTER, NUGGETS, WE EDUCATE BOTH OUR MEMBERS AND THE BROADER COMMUNITY ON CRITICAL ISSUES AND OPPORTUNITIES TO ADVOCATE FOR A HEALTHY AND RESILIENT SECTOR THAT IS PREPARED TO RESPOND TO THE NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITY.THE NONPROFIT CENTER HAS DEDICATED TIME THIS YEAR TO DEVELOPING A 5-YEAR RESEARCH AGENDA FOR THE RENA COUGHLIN RESEARCH FUND (RCRF). OUR FOCUS ON DATA AND EVALUATION CAPACITY FOR THE SECTOR AND SHARED SERVICES HAS BEEN EXPLORED AND SUPPORTED BY THE RCRF. NONPROFIT CENTER CEO, DAWN LOCKHART, HAS ALSO COMPLETED THE INITIAL RESEARCH TO EVALUATE REGIONAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SHARED SERVICES MODELS AND WE ARE GETTING READY TO BEGIN A FEASIBILITY STUDY TO LOOK AT THE POTENTIAL FOR HOSTING A SHARED SERVICES PLATFORM FOR OUR MEMBERS IN THE YEAR AHEAD. SHARED SERVICES WILL FURTHER ADVANCE THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO INCREASE IMPACT AND REDUCE BACK-OFF EXPENDITURES WHILE ENSURING HIGH QUALITY OPERATIONS.TO ALIGN THE PUBLIC, PRIVATE AND PHILANTHROPIC SECTORS AROUND A COMMON DATA SET AND TO BUILD A UNIFIED VOICE FOR KEY METRICS, INDICATORS AND PRIORITIES, WE FACILITATED DATA FORUMS TO SUPPORT THE LAUNCH OF CATALYST NORTHEAST FLORIDA, A PRODUCT OF THE NORTHEAST FLORIDA COMMUNITY INDICATORS PROJECT. CATALYST IS A COLLABORATION INITIATIVE DEDICATED TO TELLING THE DATA-DRIVEN STORY OF OUR REGION, GUIDED BY THE KNOWLEDGE AND LEADERSHIP OF NONPROFIT EXPERTS WHO ARE AT THE FOREFRONT OF COMMUNITY EFFORTS EVERY DAY. WE ARE WORKING TO MOBILIZE COLLABORATION AROUND SIX KEY PRIORITY AREAS THAT INCLUDE: YOUTH AND EDUCATION, HEALTH AND WELLNESS, PROSPERITY AND OPPORTUNITY, HOUSING AND NEIGHBORHOODS, OLDER ADULTS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, AND COMMUNITY AND CIVIC VIBRANCY. LASTLY, THE NONPROFIT CENTER HAS COMMITTED NUMEROUS RESOURCES TO BUILDING GREATER DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION PRACTICES INTO THE FABRIC OF THE ORGANIZATION AND THE SECTOR. WE HAVE COMPLETED INTERNAL AUDITS OF HUMAN RESOURCES, COMMUNICATIONS AND PROGRAMMING AND HAVE MADE UPDATES TO POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, OUR WEBSITE, AND CYBERSECURITY. THESE BEST PRACTICES AND RESOURCES HAVE BEEN CATALOGED AND SHARED WITH THE LOCAL SOCIAL SECTOR. THIS YEAR WE LAUNCHED THE BEYOND BOUNDARIES SERIES: HR STRATEGIES FOR VIBRANT NONPROFITS AND THE BEYOND BOUNDARIES SUMMIT WHICH PROVIDES A HIGH QUALITY AND AFFORDABLE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE TO THE COMMUNITY AROUND THESE IMPORTANT TOPICS. THE NONPROFIT CENTER CONTINUES TO EVALUATE HOW TO INCREASE THE IMPACT OF THE SOCIAL SECTOR BY EXPLORING INNOVATIVE SERVICES, TECHNOLOGY AND RESOURCES TO INCREASE IMPACT. WE KNOW THAT WHEN ORGANIZATIONS WORK COLLABORATIVELY, THEY CAN INCREASE THEIR IMPACT WHILE REDUCING COSTS. THE BENEFICIARIES OF OUR MEMBER'S MISSIONS DESERVE THE HIGHEST QUALITY SERVICE, AND THE NONPROFIT CENTER IS PROUD TO BE THEIR PARTNER IN ACHIEVING THAT GOAL.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
