Mission

We strive to educate consumers about their food and connect them with the people who grow and raise it. We are also proud to support Oklahomans in need, with a focus on using agriculture and our states bounty to provide hope for our fellow citizens.

  • To promote Agriculture through adult education programs1. Commnity Harvest: Made strategic donations throughout the state to promote and provide programs that feed the communities such as: classes on food preparation, blessing boxes, and other forms of food security.2. Pork for Packs Program: Donation of over 400 hogs to area food banks for processing into prok sticks. Additionally, grants were made to regional food banks to decrease food insecurity in our state.3. Restore OKC: Support of Restore OKCs new chicken and goat project.4. Sponsored the Farmers Market Conference to reach producers that are not traditional agriculture but that do have more face to face time with the consumer. Through this outreach, we provided grants to local producers to promote agriculture through recipe cards, produce bags, geocaching, and other promotional items.5. Sponsorship of the Women in Ag and Small Business Conference to help educate and assist Women in Ag

Donated Books for the Bushel for Books Program in which a Bushel of books is donated to teachers on an application/grant basis. 12 baskets were filled with accurate agriculture books and awarded. Each basket is valued at roughly $250.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
