Mission
Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage (NSAA) is dedicated to promoting all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy form of individual and family activity. NSAA's primary activity is to build, groom and maintain over 140 kilometers of spectacular world class trails in Anchorage. Since the 1960's, NSAA has been introducing Alaskans to cross country skiing and developing youth athletes through learn-to-ski programs, biathlon, Nordic ski jumping, and back-country tours. Each winter, NSAA hosts dozens of local and national-level ski competitions and community events for skiers of all ages and abilities.

Other races in this grouping include: middle and high school races that NSAA officiates and grooms, as well as the SKAN24, a 24 hour race offered in the spring that challenges individuals and teams in a different way than other races.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
