Mission and programs · 2023

Mission

The Alliance for Longevity Initiatives A4LI proudly stands as the inaugural 501c4 nonprofit organization specifically created to ignite social and political action focused on mitigating age-related diseases and fostering an increase in our healthy, active years. Visionary founder Dylan Livingston, leveraging his rich background as a grassroots political organizer, launched A4LI in 2022 in response to the burgeoning call for legislative advocacy within the rapidly evolving longevity sector.

  • In June 2024, the Organization's primary achievements were as follows: 1) Launched a new California investment strategy to keep people healthier longer to grow the economy, decrease public healthcare costs, and improve lives. By launching the California Healthspan Initiative (CHI), the state can start to prepare for the significant demographic shifts toward an aging population that are going to significantly challenge the economy and strain the healthcare system. The program is to fund the development of technologies that will improve the healthspan of our aging population, improving lives, decreasing healthcare costs, and empowering people to live longer and healthier in their golden years. 2) Formally proposing the establishment of the National Institute for Longevity and Aging Research (NILAR). NILAR's mission will focus on developing therapies that address multiple age-related diseases simultaneously, while enforcing accountability, encouraging innovation, and promoting collaboration among institutes

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
