Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

The filer's explanations (Part III)
- PART I, LINE 3
- THE VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES COMPILES COMPARABILITY DATA FROM AN INDEPENDENT SALARY CONSULTANT TO CALCULATE A WAGE FOR EXECUTIVE POSITIONS AND FROM AN INDEPENDENT SALARY SURVEY TO CALCULATE A WAGE AT MARKET AVERAGE FOR ALL OTHER POSITIONS. APART FROM PROVIDING A VEHICLE FOR THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY, VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS, EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS, AND DIRECTOR OF THE GOLF COURSE; ALL FRINGES OFFERED ARE EXACTLY THE SAME AS FOR ANY OTHER EMPLOYEE. THE EXECUTIVES' COMPENSATION IS CALCULATED USING THE EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION PLAN APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS. THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY'S COMPENSATION IS REVIEWED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE BOARD FOR REASONABLENESS AND APPROVAL. ALL OTHER WAGES ARE CALCULATED FOLLOWING A BUDGETED AMOUNT WHICH IS APPROVED BY THE BOARDS. THIS IS DOCUMENTED IN THE BOARD MINUTES.
- PART I, LINE 7
- SENIOR MANAGEMENT EARNS A BONUS BASED UPON COMPANY GOALS AND PERSONAL GOALS. THE BONUS POTENTIAL IS 10%- 30% OF WAGES AND THE 10% - 30% IS EARNED IN 20% INCREMENTS. THE 20% INCREMENTAL GOALS ARE NET OPERATING MARGIN, 5-STAR CMS RATING, INDEPENDENT LIVING AVERAGE DAILY OCCUPANCY, EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND A PERSONAL TARGET.
Part I's answers as filed. A line not listed was left unanswered; on lines 1a and 3 that means the box was not checked.
