- In some instances, board members may be reimbursed for first class air fare that is directly related to NADA business as outlined in the company's travel policy. All board travel submitted for reimbursement is required to include the appropriate supporting documentation. Per IRS guidelines, a Form 1099 will be issued when required. NADA also advises its board members to have a tax professional review any payments from NADA so they can be treated properly under the IRS Code.
