THIS WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH ANNUAL GIVING PROGRAMS SUPPORTING CURRENT OPERATIONS, DEVELOPING BEQUEST AND PLANNED GIVING PROGRAMS, AND CONDUCTING CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS.
Activities or mission (Part I)

-
MEADVILLE MEDICAL CENTER FOUNDATION IS THE FUND-RAISING ARM OF MEADVILLE MEDICAL CENTER AND RELATED ENTITIES ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING DONOR SUPPORT TO ASSIST IN THE CONTINUED ADVANCEMENT OF THE MEDICAL CENTER. THROUGH YOUR GIFT, YOU ARE HELPING TO ENSURE THE HIGHEST QUALITY HEALTHCARE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS OF THE CRAWFORD COUNTY REGION COMMUNITY. PATIENTS AND FAMILIES HAVE ALWAYS RECEIVED EXCELLENT CARE AT MEADVILLE MEDICAL CENTER. HOWEVER, BEGINNING IN THE EARLY NINETIES, MEADVILLE MEDICAL CENTER BOARD OF DIRECTORS RECOGNIZED THAT THERE WAS GOING TO BE MASSIVE CHANGES AHEAD FOR THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY. THE INCREASING COST OF TECHNOLOGY ALONG WITH DIMINISHING RESOURCES CREATED A NEED FOR NEW WAYS TO OBTAIN SUPPORT FOR THE MEDICAL CENTER AND ITS PATIENTS. AS A PARTIAL SOLUTION, THE BOARD ELECTED TO ESTABLISH MEADVILLE MEDICAL CENTER FOUNDATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING PRIVATE DONOR SUPPORT THAT WOULD ASSIST IN THE CONTINUED ADVANCEMENT OF THE MEDICAL CENTER. SINCE THAT TIME, THE MEADVILLE COMMUNITY HAS COME TOGETHER IN SUPPORT OF THE FOUNDATION'S ANNUAL FUNDS AND CAPITAL CAMPAIGN. THE RESPONSE TO THE MMC FOUNDATION FROM THE COMMUNITY HAS BEEN EXCELLENT. GENEROUS SUPPORT AND PRUDENT STEWARDSHIP OF RESOURCES, HAS ALLOWED MMC TO CONTINUE TO UPGRADE ITS FACILITIES, OFFER NEW SERVICES AND PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY HEALTHCARE. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT SUPPORT FROM THE COMMUNITY WILL CONTINUE AND SERVE AS THE CORNERSTONE OF THE FUTURE GROWTH OF THE FOUNDATION.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.
