At The Moore Wright Group, we are driven by a shared vision of creating communities where everyone can thrive. Together, we are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty, abuse, and abandonment in our community by providing hope.
-
We spent $375,598 on wages, $28,568 on payroll taxes, and another $23,560 on contractors so that we can carry out the work we set out to do. Helping communities thrive takes all hands on deck so we ensure that our employees are well-compensated for their efforts to break the cycle of abuse and abandonment and create hope.
Expenses $427,726 · Grants $427,726

We spent $98,552 on vehicles and transportation; this was because we traveled with participants to appointments, we distributed goods to community partners, we funded travel for our staff to attend trainings to better serve our communities, and we purchased and maintained vehicles to help us fulfill our mission. In addition, we spent $74,813 on insurance; this was to ensure that our goods, vehicles, facilities, and staff were protected and we could fulfill our mission while in compliance with various federal and state requirements.
Expenses $173,365 · Grants $173,365

We spent $69,856 on rent and leases, $59,544 on utilities, and $30,953 on office expenses so that we could have places to work and supplies to use to serve our communities. We spent $55,000 on the purchase of a building to do the same but more. We earned $49,845 from renting out some of our properties at discounted rates to lower barriers to housing while still earning some income.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
