Mission and programs · 2024

Primary exempt purpose

Our mission is to lend support to Ukraine in strengthening its healthcare and bringing it to the highest international standards by developing a platform for cooperation and mutual enrichment between Ukraine and the United States.

  • In 2024, we have expanded our educational programs and added vital materials to tccc.org.ua (Tactical Combat Casualty Care - TCCC), ensuring that Ukrainian medical personnel have access to high-quality training resources. This project, our largest to date, is carried out in coordination with the Defense Health Agency's Joint Trauma System and the Committee on TCCC. The translated materials include TCCC clinical guidelines and educational courses of increasing complexity. These resources, including didactic materials and dubbed videos for eleven courses, are available on tccc.org.ua, a website that we created in cooperation with the NGO Reformation and the All-Ukrainian Council of Resuscitation and Emergency Medical Care (AUCRMC). Additionally, we have made the translated TCCC materials accessible as smartphone apps on the App Store and Google Play.

    Expenses $7,740 · Grants $20,000

  • AUMF translated NATO medical standards and the Advanced Surgical Skills for Exposure in Trauma (ASSET) manual, providing trauma surgeons with critical guidance for life-saving procedures. For this project AUMF secured a grant of $46,479 from The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. The grant will be transferred during 2025.

    Expenses $3,015

  • In cooperation with the publishing house Nash Format, Kyiv, Ukraine, we translate and print the Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support book. We have paid $8,000 for translation licensing rights to Jones & Bartlett Learning, LLC. For this project, we have received $36,084 and $5,000 grants from Canada-Ukraine Foundation and Ukrainian Medical Association of North America, respectively.

    Grants $8,000

As filed on the 2024 return.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. Earlier years are each on their own filing page.

Grants made

No itemized grants to organizations. Schedule I is filed only by organizations that granted more than $5,000 to a recipient, so most filers have none.

Auto-Revocation List

Not listed. The IRS publishes this list for organizations whose exemption was automatically revoked for failing to file for three consecutive years.

Publication 78

Listed as of 13 October 2026, under deductibility PC.

These are two separate IRS files on two separate schedules, shown as published and not reconciled with each other. Neither is a statement about whether a contribution is deductible today: 19,245 organizations appear in Publication 78 while the IRS's own revocation file lists them as currently revoked, more than half of those revoked before 2019. Absence from Publication 78 is evidence of nothing, and presence is not evidence either. Verify current status with the IRS before relying on it.
