Mission

NAMA IS A FISHERMEN-LED ORGANIZATION BUILDING A BROAD MOVEMENT TOWARD HEALTHY FISHERIES AND FISHING COMMUNITIES. WE BUILD DEEP AND TRUSTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH COMMUNITY BASED FISHERMEN, CREW, FISHWORKERS AND ALLIES TO CREATE EFFECTIVE POLICY AND MARKET STRATEGIES.

  • ENHANCED THE PROCESS BY WHICH FISHERMAN AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS IN THE NORTH AMERICAN CAN IMPLEMENT NEW POLICIES AND MARKETING STRATEGIES THAT PROTECT THE MARINE ECOSYSTEM AND COASTAL FISHING COMMUNITIES WHILE EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT AND THE ROLE OF THE FISHERMAN IN PROTECTING OUR MARINE RESOURCES.
