Mission

Tarrant County Homeless Coalition leads the community solution to homelessness in greater Tarrant and Parker counties by serving as a catalyst for community transformation.

  • Community Initiatives-Partnership Home works at the systems and policy level and specifically addresses homelessness and housing in Tarrant and Parker Counties. With this responsibility comes the opportunity to manage a variety of community initiatives benefitting partner agencies providing direct services. Initiatives include administering community funds used to reimburse costs related to moving out of homelessness, providing grants to organizations serving families, and subcontracting state and federal funding to help shape homeless response in our community.

    Expenses $2,728,997 · Grants $2,308,845

  • Landlord Engagement-Landlord engagement works to increase access to safe, decent, and affordable housing for households exiting homelessness. This includes establishing and maintaining relationships with local property owners and landlords who make housing units available, providing support to case managers, managing risk mitigation funds, and master leasing services. Landlord engagement also manages a database of affordable housing units available to people exiting homelessness.

    Expenses $1,316,060 · Grants $195,632

  • Homeless Management Information System-Partnership Home manages the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) on behalf of the local Continuum of Care Board of Directors and has been appointed the HMIS Administrator for our local Continuum of Care. HMIS is a web-based client and services database for 180 homeless housing and services programs which include over $50M in federal, state, and local funding annually. HMIS is used for data collection, grants management, data analysis, program monitoring and performance reporting to funders and the community. The HMIS enhances coordination of care by and between housing, supportive services, mental health, behavioral health, health care, and first responders.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
