THE MERCY HOSPITAL IS A SUBSIDIARY IN THE TRINITY HEALTH SYSTEM. THE MERCY HOSPITAL'S CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER WAS PAID DIRECTLY BY THE SYSTEM'S PARENT ENTITY, TRINITY HEALTH CORPORATION. TRINITY HEALTH CORPORATION USED THE FOLLOWING METHODS TO ESTABLISH THE COMPENSATION OF THE MERCY HOSPITAL'S CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: - COMPENSATION COMMITTEE - INDEPENDENT COMPENSATION CONSULTANT - FORM 990 OF OTHER ORGANIZATIONS - WRITTEN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT - COMPENSATION SURVEY OR STUDY, AND - APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OR COMPENSATION COMMITTEE

THE FOLLOWING ARE PARTICIPANTS IN A TRINITY HEALTH SUPPLEMENTAL EXECUTIVE RETIREMENT PLAN (SERP) IN 2022. THE PLAN PROVIDES RETIREMENT BENEFITS TO CERTAIN TRINITY HEALTH EXECUTIVES SUBJECT TO MEETING SPECIFIED VESTING AND EMPLOYMENT DATE REQUIREMENTS. PARTICIPANTS' VESTED BENEFITS WERE PAID OUT IN 2022, AND THEIR NON-VESTED BENEFITS FOR 2022 WERE ACCRUED. THE FOLLOWING PAYOUTS FOR 2022 FOR THE PLAN ARE INCLUDED IN COLUMN B(III) OF SCHEDULE J, PART II: ROBERT ANTHONY - $64,992 DEBORAH BITSOLI - $13,526 EMILY BROWER - $107,555 MONTEZ CARTER - $93,271 REGINALD EADIE - $248,958 JENNIFER SCHNEIDER - $15,030 COLUMN F OF SCHEDULE J, PART II INCLUDES THE PORTION OF THESE AMOUNTS THAT WERE REPORTED AS DEFERRED COMPENSATION IN PRIOR YEARS. THE FOLLOWING ACCRUALS FOR 2022 ARE INCLUDED IN COLUMN C OF SCHUEDLE J, PART II: ROBERT ANTHONY - $72,368 DEBORAH BITSOLI - $86,060 EMILY BROWER - $119,990 MONTEZ CARTER - $170,598 REGINALD EADIE - $263,900 JENNIFER SCHNEIDER - $65,535 THE FOLLOWING ARE PARTICIPANTS IN A TRINITY HEALTH RESTORATION PLAN.
